A 13-year-old male student at Parkside Middle School was charged after being found in possession of a knife on school grounds. The school’s security staff recovered the knife and alerted the School Resource Officer (SRO), who then conducted an investigation.
There were no threats made, and the knife was not displayed to students or staff. The student was charged with possession of a weapon on school property. His court date is pending, and his current status has not been released.
