A 30-year-old man was the target of an attempted armed robbery late Monday night in Woodbridge.
Police say three unidentified men approached the victim while he was sitting in his vehicle. The suspects assaulted the man before one of them brandished a knife. The confrontation ended without serious injury, but the victim’s keys were stolen.
A police K-9 unit searched the area, but the suspects—described as men in their 20s or 30s wearing dark clothing—were not located.
