Two women were victims of separate but similar indecent exposure incidents on the same day in Prince William County, prompting a police investigation into a potential connection.
The first report came from a 53-year-old woman who was approached by a man at the Walmart on Richmond Highway in Dumfries around 1:40 PM. During a brief conversation, the woman noticed that the man had exposed himself. He then left the area on foot.
Later that day at 4:17 PM, a 31-year-old woman at the Rivergate Apartments in Woodbridge experienced a similar encounter while checking her mail. She also saw the man expose himself before he quickly departed the area.
The suspect in both incidents is believed to be the same person—a Black male in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, yellow basketball-style shorts, white socks, dark-colored slide sandals, an NY baseball cap, and carrying a Nike backpack.
Police are investigating whether the same individual is responsible for both incidents and are encouraging witnesses or residents with surveillance footage to come forward.
