Prince William County police are searching for 18-year-old Timothy Damon Rutherford after a felony hit-and-run incident in Woodbridge. Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle when Rutherford, the suspected driver, reversed and struck an occupied police car before fleeing. No injuries were reported.
Two female juveniles, who had initially fled from the vehicle, were detained by Occoquan police and later released to known parties.
Rutherford, who has no fixed address, is wanted for felony hit and run, grand larceny, obstruction of justice, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Prince William County Police at 703-792-7000.
