A reported burglary at Rivergate Apartments has been revealed to be fabricated. Detectives determined that Kelvin Kedwy Urena, 26, of Woodbridge, knowingly filed a false police report claiming multiple firearms and property were stolen. Investigators later located the items in places known to Urena, disproving the original burglary report.
He was charged on November 11 with filing a false police report and released on a court summons. A court date is set for January 30, 2026.
