Prince William County police responded to the Festival at Manassas Shopping Center following reports of a brandishing incident in the parking lot.
Investigators say a 41-year-old man was standing outside his vehicle when a white older-model sedan, possibly a Ford Focus with tinted windows, drove toward him. According to police, the driver pointed a firearm into the air while the front passenger fired water beads from a gel blaster at the victim.
The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim suffered minor injuries. No additional injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
