A Manassas man was arrested after a self-inflicted shooting investigation uncovered evidence allegedly connected to marijuana distribution.
According to police, the incident occurred while the man was sitting in a vehicle and showing a firearm to an acquaintance. The weapon discharged, striking him in the leg.
The victim, later identified as 26-year-old Royale Cameron Loibman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. During the investigation, officers recovered items they said were consistent with the sale of marijuana.
Loibman was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
