A Woodbridge woman was arrested after allegedly kicking a police officer while officers attempted to serve a warrant.
Prince William County Police responded to the 4600 block of Dale Boulevard shortly after midnight on June 10 to conduct a warrant service. Officers located the suspect and attempted to place her under arrest.
During the arrest, the woman allegedly kicked an officer before being secured. Police reported that no injuries resulted from the incident. Officers also allegedly discovered illicit narcotics in her possession.
The accused, identified as 35-year-old Elisha Monique Bailey of Woodbridge, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and possession of a controlled substance. She was held without bond.
