A Woodbridge man was arrested after allegedly threatening a restaurant employee with a machete during an argument.
Prince William County Police responded to Pulgarcito de America on Richmond Highway after receiving reports of a brandishing incident. Investigators determined that an intoxicated customer became involved in a verbal dispute with an employee.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly retrieved a machete and pointed it at the employee before leaving the area on foot. No injuries were reported.
Anthony Jermaine Bowles, 34, of Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with brandishing a machete and public intoxication.
