The man accused of robbing the 7-Eleven on Dumfries Road earlier in March has been arrested.
Police say 21-year-old Deontae Terrell Galitan, of Exmore Court in Woodbridge, was identified as the suspect who pulled a gun on a store clerk and took off with cash during the March 7 robbery. The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 17360 Dumfries Road.
No one was hurt in the robbery, and although officers and a K-9 unit searched the area that night, the suspect wasn’t found right away.
Galitan was eventually arrested on March 29 while already in custody at the Rappahannock Regional Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges. He remains behind bars.
