A disturbing discovery at Patriot High School is under investigation after a swastika was found drawn inside a classroom dictionary.
The School Resource Officer at the school on Kettle Run Road was alerted to the vandalism just before noon on March 28. According to police, the symbol didn’t come with any threats to students or staff, and no other graffiti or drawings were found.
Police didn’t say who might be responsible, and it’s unclear how long the image had been there before it was noticed. The school system and law enforcement are continuing to look into the matter.
