Time: Arrest made April 1, 2025
Police arrested a man this week after a disturbing domestic assault last month at Riverside Station Apartments.
On March 26, officers were called around 11:30 p.m. after a woman reported that an argument with a man she knew had turned violent. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Elisha Herbert Williams, allegedly struck and kicked the woman several times, then blocked her from leaving the apartment. He also took her money and phone before fleeing.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. After a search, police secured warrants and caught up with Williams on April 1. He’s now facing multiple charges, including malicious wounding, abduction, and grand larceny. He’s being held without bond.
