Prince William County Police are investigating a malicious wounding after an apartment complex employee was assaulted by three men in Woodbridge.
Police said the employee encountered the suspects smoking marijuana in a common area and asked them to leave the property. During the confrontation, the suspects allegedly assaulted the employee before fleeing in a vehicle.
The victim suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators released descriptions of the three suspects and said the investigation remains ongoing.
