A Dumfries man, Darnell Marshall, 18, was arrested on August 27 in connection to a shooting, armed robbery, and abduction that occurred on August 6 in Triangle. Police say two men attempted to force their way into a home when shots were fired. An adult male later appeared at a hospital with gunshot wounds but refused to cooperate with officers. Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a marijuana-related drug deal. Marshall has been charged with robbery and abduction. A second suspect remains at large.
