Wilfredo Antonio Argueta Romero, 32, of no fixed address, was arrested by Fairfax County Police on August 19, 2025, in connection to a domestic strangulation incident that took place over a year ago in Woodbridge VA.
On August 4, 2024, officers responded to a residence on Hanover Court to investigate a domestic dispute. A verbal argument between Romero and a 37-year-old female family member escalated, during which Romero allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck. The victim sustained minor injuries. Warrants were issued following the incident, but Romero had remained at large until his recent arrest.
He is currently in custody and charged with strangulation. A court date is pending.
