Prince William County Police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy who was found unresponsive along a wooded trail in Andrew Leitch Park.
Officers responded to the park at approximately 12:58 p.m. on July 28 after receiving a report of an unconscious individual. Investigators determined the juvenile had suffered an apparent self-inflicted injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there were no preliminary signs of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released if deemed necessary.
