Prince William County Police continue to investigate a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on March 20, claiming the life of 53-year-old Miles Jonathan Moore of Woodbridge. Moore was struck while attempting to cross Richmond Hwy. outside of a crosswalk.
Initial investigation revealed that Moore was first hit by a 2012 Toyota Highlander, whose driver remained on scene and was not injured. Moments later, a second, unidentified vehicle also struck Moore before fleeing the area. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored Toyota Camry, model year between 2018 and 2025, with damage to the front left bumper and fender.
Police are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact them as the investigation continues.
