An attempted fraud at the Navy Federal Credit Union in Woodbridge VA led to the arrest of a 58-year-old Maryland man. Allex Sutton allegedly tried to use a fake ID to access an account. When police arrived, he resisted arrest and fled on foot before being detained after a short chase. Minor injuries were reported during the altercation. Sutton was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, obstruction with force, identity theft, possession of a fictitious ID, attempt to obtain money by false pretenses, and possession of a scheduled narcotic. His bond is set at $5,000.
