Police are searching for 26-year-old Naim Arrak after a domestic incident in Gainesville escalated into violence. Authorities say Arrak assaulted a 27-year-old woman, strangled her, and took her phone to prevent her from calling for help. He then drove off in her vehicle with her and their child inside, all while driving recklessly.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the child was unharmed. Police have issued multiple warrants for Arrak’s arrest, but he remains at large.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement.
