An unsettling incident of indecent exposure is under investigation after a teenage boy encountered an unknown man exposing himself near the track at Rippon Middle School in Woodbridge VA.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the 13-year-old victim had separated briefly from his mother while they were using the school track when he came across the suspect. The man reportedly exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures toward the boy. Thankfully, there was no physical contact during the encounter.
The teen immediately informed his mother, who called the police. Officers responded and searched the area, but the suspect had already fled toward a nearby wooded area and was not located.
While on scene, police learned from on-site workers of a similar, previously unreported incident involving the same suspect that allegedly took place on July 30.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with a thin build and medium-length black shaggy hair. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, and shoes.
