A 33-year-old man was arrested after police said windows were shattered at two apartments and one residence was unlawfully entered at the Dominion Lake Ridge Apartments in Woodbridge.
Prince William County police responded to the apartment complex in the 3200 block of Ridge View Court at 7:45 p.m. on August 5 to investigate a reported burglary.
Investigators determined that a man, later identified as Zackary Lee Plumley, allegedly shattered windows at two apartments before entering one of the residences through an unlocked front door.
Police said the resident yelled toward Plumley, who then left the apartment on foot. Responding officers located him and determined that he was intoxicated.
No property was reported missing.
Plumley, who police listed as having no fixed address, was charged with one count of unlawful entry, two counts of destruction of property and one count of public intoxication.
His court date was pending, and his bond was set at $2,500.
