Prince William County police investigated a reported shooting involving a 20-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to his foot.
Police said the man was reportedly walking near a convenience store at an unknown location when he was struck by gunfire. An unknown person transported him to an area hospital before officers arrived. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
During the investigation, police said the man was uncooperative with officers. Investigators believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
