Manassas Park Police Search for Ford F-150 After Hit-and-Run

MANASSAS PARK, Va. — Manassas Park police are asking residents and drivers to check their cameras as investigators search for a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night.

The crash happened around 9:11 p.m. on Sept. 6 at the intersection of Manassas Drive and Scott Drive.

According to the Manassas Park Police Department, a vehicle struck another car and then fled westbound on Manassas Drive. The impact disabled the victim’s vehicle and caused its airbags to deploy.

The victim was taken to a Prince William County hospital for treatment.

Police believe the vehicle that left the scene was a dark gray or otherwise dark-colored Ford F-150, possibly from model years 2015 through 2017.

Investigators recovered debris from a passenger-side fog light at the crash scene. The pickup is believed to be missing that fog light and may have noticeable damage to the front passenger side.

Police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was traveling along Manassas Drive around 9:10 p.m. Sunday or who has home security, business surveillance or dashcam footage from the area.

Residents should also be on the lookout for a dark-colored F-150 that recently appeared with unexplained damage to its front passenger side.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information that could help identify the vehicle or driver can contact the Manassas Park Police Department at 703-361-1136.
