Prince William County Police have arrested a 30-year-old Manassas man following an investigation into a sexual assault involving a juvenile victim that was reported to have occurred in November 2025.
According to police, detectives with the Special Victims Investigation Unit determined that the victim, who was under the age of 15 at the time, met the accused through social media. Investigators said the accused allegedly portrayed himself as being 18 years old before arranging meetings with the victim in a parking lot along Croce Court in Manassas.
During those meetings, authorities say the victim was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion. Following the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Cristian Romario Saenz-Argueta, 30, of Manassas.
Saenz-Argueta was arrested on May 26 and charged with one count of rape and two counts of carnal knowledge. He is currently being held without bond pending a court appearance.
