A two-year-old girl was hospitalized after allegedly ingesting a narcotic at home. Investigators determined that the child’s mother, Keona O’Shea Owens, had the substance in her possession when the incident occurred. The toddler is expected to recover.
Owens was arrested on March 3 and charged with felony child neglect. She was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
