Prince William County Police are investigating a death after officers responded to a vehicle crash in Triangle and discovered the driver suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police said officers were called to the 18000 block of Joplin Road for reports of a vehicle striking a tree. When they arrived, they located a 22-year-old man deceased at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities stated there were no signs of foul play or any threat to the community. The investigation remains active pending further review.
