Prince William County detectives have arrested two men in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month in Woodbridge. Investigators said the victim, a 42-year-old man from Bowling Green, was shot multiple times following an altercation connected to a narcotics transaction.
Police said the incident began in a parking lot along Potomac Vista Drive when the victim became involved in a physical fight with another man. During the confrontation, a third individual allegedly produced a firearm and opened fire. The victim managed to reach his vehicle before being transported to a nearby hospital by a family member, where he later died from his injuries.
Following the investigation, detectives charged Taiyon Damari Jackson, 20, of Alexandria, with murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, discharging a firearm in a public place, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. William Latrale Lisenby, 23, of Lorton, was charged with murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both men are being held without bond as the investigation continues.
