A case of road rage turned dangerous Wednesday afternoon when a driver was shot during a dispute near Dumfries Road and Walton Drive.
Police say a 36-year-old man was driving north when he got into a verbal altercation with someone in a light-colored sedan. As both vehicles came to a stop, the other driver opened fire, hitting the man and his vehicle.
