Prince William County Police arrested Ronald Lynn Pittman, 54, of no fixed address, on November 14 in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Woodbridge last month. Pittman was the second suspect identified in the case and has been charged with robbery. He is currently held without bond and a court date is pending.
The original incident occurred on October 17, when a 61-year-old woman was approached by two men. One of the suspects displayed a knife and demanded money. The pair fled the scene on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim, unharmed, reported the crime days later. Pittman’s alleged accomplice, Tyree William Hunter, was previously arrested on November 13.
