A 17-year-old female juvenile from Manassas was arrested after allegedly assaulting two Walmart loss prevention employees during an attempted shoplifting. When police arrived, she resisted arrest, reportedly kicking and scratching an officer, causing minor injuries. She has been charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, two counts of assault & battery, and petit larceny. Her court date is pending.
